Students at Trinity Christian School are provided the tools for a lifetime of
learning by means of a well-rounded, God-centered curriculum. The Christian classical
approach to education is used and is based on the foundation of the reformed biblical
world-view.
Saxon Math
The Saxon Math curriculum uses an incremental approach to math, starting with a clearly designed, hans-on program for kindergarten through third grade. In the middle grades, students are guided successfully from the basics to pre-algebra. The secondary school math program is fully integrated, covering algebra through calculus with mathematical analysis.
Phonics
The Veritas Phonics Museum is used in kindergarten and first grade. The Saxon Phonics program is introduced in second grade. Both of these programs not only include phonics instruction and practice, but also integrate spelling, fluency and handwriting.
Greenleaf History Series
History comes alive to students, starting in the first grade. The Greenleaf History curriculum offers a thorough approach to world history, emphasizing historical facts while teaching good moral character, stressing the study of famous people through biographies.
Honors Program
Honors programs in physics, advanced mathematics and calculus as well as advanced placement in U.S. History are offered to help equip curious minds with the tools needed to pursue life-long learning.
The effectiveness of our curriculum has been proven over time. Standardized achievement tests show that Trinity Christian School students regularly score one or more grades higher than their public school counterparts. Our seniors consistently score higher than the national average on the SAT composite scores. Over 90% of our graduates pursue higher education, further preparing them for a lifetime of learning and service to God.
