TCS Fundraising Events
Fall Dinner Auction
Trinity’s biggest fundraiser of the fall is the Dinner Auction. Each October the committee plans an exciting themed evening which includes delicious food and amazing enter-tainment. Silent auction items are donated from school and community members and an offering is received to support the school’s general budget. Over 300 people typically attend this fun event at the school.
Christmas Shoppe
The evening of the Elementary Christmas Program in December is also the opening of the Annual Christmas Shoppe. Handmade crafts, holiday items and homemade baked goods are available for families and friends to purchase in the school library. The following week, the Shoppe is open for the students of the school to make Christmas purchases for family members.
Work-A-Thon
Each May more than 350 students, faculty, staff and parents volunteer for a whole day to serve in over 30 locations throughout Allegheny and Westmoreland counties. Volunteers visit area nursing homes, parks, pools, non-profits, churches and schools to help with spring clean-up. The labor provided is completely free of charge for the organizations being served. Students instead request family members, friends and businesses to sponsor them at an hourly rate for their work. It’s an excellent example of a school/community partnership. Golf Tournament
Glengarry Golf Links has been the site of the Annual Trinity Golf Tournament in June. Prizes are awarded for the individual event, team event and skill events. Registration includes green fees, cart, balls, buffet lunch and dinner. Many friends and businesses sponsor this event at varying levels. All proceeds benefit Trinity.
